Washington National Cathedral Christmas Event at DC


The sixth largest cathedral in the world, Washington National Cathedral, awaits everybody to join them in the celebration of Christmas 2009.

December 12 and 13 – Opening procession of the advent wreath with the festive concert as part of their Christmas tradition. This includes favorite carols for all to sing, including the world's premiere of a Christmas carol by the renowned American composer Lee Hoiby, and features the Heritage Signature Chorale. December 19, 2009. 2pm. This joyous event is designed for children and welcomes the birth of the baby Jesus. Free and open to the public.

December 25, 5:15pm. Free concert on Christmas Day by Cathedral organist, Scott Dettra and sit with Cathedral's Great Choir to experience the performance.

The Collector’s Showcase
